Self-education is a dangerous thing.

Without a systematic and polymodal approach, the study of any industry through YouTube threatens to obtain imaginary knowledge, the use of which in the environment can be destructive in terms of impact.

CrashCourse. 8 million subscribers :) This channel was founded by brothers John Green (yes, the same writer who has "The Fault in the Stars") and Hank Green. Then they invited many interesting guests there who talk about physics, IT, mythology, the history of theater and cinema, engineering, sociology, the US government, astronomy and even statistics. John Green himself expectedly took over literature as well as world history, while his brother Hank explains for chemistry, biology, anatomy, psychology, philosophy, and ecology. Each item is served in a cycle of 40-45 vidos for 10-15 minutes with a guest in front of the camera, partial text, illustrations and gorgeous animation made especially for this project. They put science on the shelves qualitatively and easily. I've been watching this channel for half a year almost every day, that's wow.

Although many good channels have been thrown off, it still turns out that you yourself find interesting and informative channels for yourself. You watch one video, and there is something else interesting in the recommendations, there are so many to find many unpopular, but very cool bloggers. But I won't throw too many good channels either.

www.youtube.com

A really worthwhile channel, where the author talks about many stereotypes, as well as about science in many of its aspects. There are few subscribers for such a serious work that youtuber does, but it is not surprising, because the masses are interested in the wrong thing.

Answer 12

I will not answer the question by sending a specific channel, but I will tell you a life hack on how to enter such channels yourself.
It is best to google not channels, but specific videos. Why? Because the channels usually contain a lot of motley information, and rarely which channel is supported by one topic. This is a consequence of the arrival of vloggers in the educational sphere. They don't really understand why they should make 333 videos on one topic when more than one video on one topic will attract attention, and another on another.
It is extremely easy to find lessons on YouTube on programs: photoshop, lightroom, after effects, premiere, 3d-max and others ... Very often, entire channels are devoted to this, because of the simplicity of making lessons.
Not less popular: analysis of all sorts of electronic pieces (analogue of a mug of radio components, only on the network), drawing, cooking, knitting, etc. Therefore, it is easier to reach channels of the topic you need through specific videos.

Such lessons are well googled by queries:
"How / why / why / where ..."
"Lesson / lecture / master class / tutorial on ..."

I'll tell you right away: all channels are in English, so if you are at odds with him, you're out of luck.

We've already talked about School of Life - there are a lot of videos on the humanities and arts. Philosophy, psychology, literature, that's all. Somewhere I dug up a channel with Russian translation, but did not find it. In any case, it's better to look in the original.

There is an interesting guy called Nerdwriter1. He makes video essays on everything from Rihanna's singles to the state of the global economy. His videos have no scientific value, but they are very cool and interesting.

If you want to learn more about cinema, watch videos from the Now You See It channel, some things can be easily sorted out.

Wisecrack is an interesting channel too. They do all sorts of things about pop culture and philosophize a little.

Plus, a must-have program from TED and VSauce, which were also talked about.
