There is a Ritmotek service. There you need to tap the rhythm on the keyboard. The site will select options. They are accompanied by links to the official clips on youtube. http://ritmoteka.ru
I once had a case when I suddenly woke up at six in the morning with the thought that a piece of a song was spinning in my head that I could not remember. And the piece is small, in reality there are three or four notes. I spent the next almost three hours remembering the song. At first I tried to build a longer piece out of these four notes, trying to mentally figure out how it could begin and how it could continue. To do this, I mentally repeated this piece, the devil knows how many times, until it "continued" with a couple more notes, then I was able to complete the beginning in the same way. It's already a good piece. Then I remembered what text there might be. And initially I was able to remember only one word, using it, by trial and error, I completed the end of the phrase (so it is sung there? I sang mentally - it seems not, maybe so? I sang - not too, but if so? I sang it, but it seems to work out), and then the beginning. This is a piece of the proposal. Googled it - got the name of the song. The song, by the way, is K's Choice - Everything's For Free, and I remembered it with four notes of the chorus and the word "everything".
And if you can't remember the lyrics at all, but remember the melody well, it makes sense hum it in Shazam and the like. Somehow one friend and I made fun of him, sang all kinds of things, and he deliberately tried to sing crooked and worse, and the service quite successfully recognized songs.
In the end, write here in the comments to the question, they say, a melody sounds like this: tyn tyn tyyn tydyn tyyn tyyn tydyn tyn, and we will try to guess with our collective mind)
Download some simplest musical synthesizer and try to choose a melody on it (I can only recommend Guitar Pro, but there are many other options). After that try playing it in SoundHound app (I have no idea what app) or Shazam. This option will be better than "hum", so it is not a fact that you will sing in the same key as in the original. But it is not a fact that you will pick up the melody in the original key and on the synthesizer, so you need to play around with the transposition: pick up the melody and raise / lower it sequentially by one semitone. 12 options (there will be so many variations in the limit of one octave) should be enough if the program does not see differences between the same note from different octaves.
You can try to hum a tune in the SoundHound app, but in this case, the chances of success are still negligible. The most effective way is to still try to remember at least some fragments of sentences and already try to "google" on them.
