I write in the comments when the answer is less than 140 characters. this stupid rule does not take into account that sometimes the answer can be quite complete in one sentence.

Should I reply in a comment?

Although I haven't been sitting on TQ for a long time, I noticed that those people who reply in the comments often respond little, that is, they do not reach the minimum number of characters (140) and do not can send their response

Answered twice in a comment, because I didn't understand the interface initially. I thought that the "comments" button was "answer". But everything turned out to be much more complicated =)

I've also answered questions on TheQ in the comments a couple of times. And this was not at all due to my modesty or insecurity.

This was due to a flaw in the interface. Especially for mobile devices. Well, in general, when viewing the feed, it seems obvious that the bubble is the icon for the answer. Only later it turns out that a special field is reserved for the answer.

Many have heard this thing: an intuitive interface. For example, if you need to close a window, everyone looks for a button with an “X” shaped icon, which is usually located at the top of the window. Usually on the right. It would be rather strange to find it somewhere down in the center.

In general, this is a cant of the developers of this service. And he's not the only one.

Other jambs include, for example, the fact that the line break in the response is always the same, it is difficult to accentuate. If I decided to quote A.S. Pushkin, it would turn out to be an incomprehensible sausage instead of a beautiful poetic form.

According to the rules of the Russian language, a dash is not wrapped on a new line. This rule is ignored here.

The links you use to style a word or phrase are duplicated in the mobile version.

Even spaces after punctuation marks are not put in the mobile application TheQ, as a result of which the text turns into sheer trash.

But this is a great reason to troll the administration of the resource, which proudly ignores comments from users on such topics ...

When you don't consider your answer to be of any value, but you want to talk to a person, then you answer in the comments. Or, when you think that there is no correct answer to a question, the same way is in the comments. The variety of possibilities is great.

The answer is too short, a person does not want to collect minuses in his rating (for comments + - they do not count), a person cannot answer because of the rating, but you can comment. The question is addressed to someone in a direct line, but the person wants to answer too.

By the way, there is no search for comments yet. Although ... a bit of a pity.
