Yes, there is no difference where you add this music - VK or on a computer, spotify, but at least mail.ru. That you found fault with the word. The question remains the same - why do some people listen to many different musical compositions, and someone less? (Although the listening process itself is approximately equal in time per day)

It may be strange, but I prefer music to ordinary everyday reality. I have no tracks in any social account, nor, in fact, on my computer. In other words, I am calm about the absence or presence of "music" at hand and as a "background" for work.

Yes, it was 20 years ago. But then we listened to tape cassettes. I listened more to Viktor Tsoi, Mikhail Shcherbakov and other "existential bards". A little later, the songs of Pavel Kashin were interesting. But now, as it is fashionable to say, music (even classical) - "does not deliver." only the volume always ask to turn down.

And more. It seems to me that the widespread enthusiasm for the products of the music industry, the global fashion for "feeding" oneself with musical rhythms is an indicator that people have, so to speak, a deficit of audio being; before our very eyes, an audio culture, which is based on an understanding of musical silence as one of the fundamental principles of reality.

By audio culture, I mean that layer of human culture that is being developed by outstanding representatives of poetry, by the way, by such a religion as Islam, since the auditory dominant in Islam is most pronounced (I’m talking about this in passing spoke here). The music of the word is directly related to the music of meaning, especially the music of unspoken meaning . Poetry is leaving, or rather, has long gone from the position of the semantic and cultural hegemon, giving way to the abstraction of the game .

Now humanity is experiencing a boom of Her Majesty's Game in all possible manifestations. Politicians play politics, clergymen play religion, scientists play science, users on social networks, lawyers play laws, schoolchildren go to school, athletes go to sports, political scientists go to democracy, sociologists go to society, terrorists go into terrorism ... Not to mention the actors themselves, whose profession has become cult, having won a cultural monopoly in modern civilization. Straight, hello to Johann Heizinge with his providential "Homo Ludens" from the twenty-first century.

I have nothing against. The gaming culture is good and serious and deep. But just let me give a little hint for those who want a more sober state of mind. Besides the game, there is still a non-game. All life cannot be a game, life is, after all, life, and play is a game.

Sometimes you need to get out of trance. Including from musical.

However, perhaps I'm just grumbling from the position of a 46-year-old. Do not be offended and all the best to you!

It is difficult to judge how much a person listens to music by the number of songs added to VK. I have one friend who has not deleted his audio recordings from the creation of his account, he clearly has more than 4 thousand on the list, but he listens only to those songs that are in the top that arouse his interest and emotions at the moment.

I have zero songs added to my VK. On a computer - thirty two and a half thousand. according to this vkashny logic, I don't listen to music at all, and the one who just adds everything in a row is a direct music lover

The amount of music listened to in VK is not tracked.

Different people have different approaches and needs. Someone goes to work, turns on random - it is important for him to listen to something new every time.
Someone during their work for 12-14 hours a day listens, it is just as important for him that the tracks do not repeat and, most likely, are somehow ordered. Let's say relaxation for the morning, action for lunch, relax in the evening and a wild swing for the deadline, when the brain turns off, but you have to work. And if something in the last group repeats itself, you are guaranteed to fall asleep.
Someone should have a small collection for cleaning or rest.

Often people even simply save tracks so as not to lose them, but they hardly listen to them or listen to them pointwise, according to their mood. My stepfather, a musician, has folders on YouTube with genres, years of release, and ideas. And our disco is divided into three walls in about the same way.
