Because by streamlining activities, a person comes to some kind of norms. As a rule, these norms are the path of least resistance, i.e. the most primitive model possible. And these norms are inherent in all in one way or another. But some deviations from these norms will determine the personality.
Unfortunately, or fortunately, a person learns only from negative experiences. Experience comes through pain. The bottom line is that we cannot take any lesson from joyful events, only emotions, in this case, positive ones.
