Yes, because there is a big difference between the users of these resources in intelligence and, as a result, in the quality of content. This is the first thing that catches your eye. There are practically no stupid mundane questions on TQ, flat humor and other rubbish that make "Answers" look so dull

It's no secret that TheQuestion VKontakte public is on the list of recommended communities, thereby gaining a fairly solid audience. Also, there was news that Yandex gives priority to questions from TheQuestion in search results (https://vc.ru/n/ya-question), which, in general, also leads to greater popularity over Mail.ru. As noted before, there are still more expert answers and a more comfortable and modern user interface.

The design is much better, it is much easier to find something you need, there are much fewer trolls, you can invite a specialist to answer a question, there are all sorts of comments on the question and answers, there are quite beautiful profiles, there are expertise, and the site does not exist long ago, so that it would be unrealistic to achieve the level of an expert in some topic if desired, and sometimes even without desire. For example, I have a couple of examinations in which I am in the top, but I understand that I am far from the most understanding, it is just that my answers to these examinations are well received and the people like them, but I clearly did not deserve any place there, in comparison with real experts, but this is their problem, that they do not want to fight with me in the ranking for their own real-life expertise. As if this suggests that they do not really like their job. I would answer more often to the questions of my sphere, but I rarely see them, and if I see them, then they are some very tough, that at my 18 years old and with my experience I do not have an answer to them, and therefore I often read simply answers to them. By the way, the rating system is very interesting, but unfortunately it is abused by all sorts of friends, etc., constantly minus others in order to take the top. Sometimes a joke collects 2 or even 5 times more rating than a useful piece of advice, but once you enter the humorist's path, you can't get off it. You will be the viral content of the site, and I think if they are invited to respond or thank, it is either intentionally for the sake of a joke, or out of ignorance.

Because theQ is much cooler, and it is more pleasant to use it;) The contingent that lives here is somewhat higher intellectually. There are no stupid questions from the series "my son wants to go for a walk, but I don't want to let him out" and so on. 90% of all users are literate people, and their answers are pleasant to read.
